A Brief Intro

I've created this blog to share my experiences while studying abroad in Israel. I am based in Jerusalem at the Mt. Scopus Campus of Hebrew University. This is my first time blogging, so I'm very interested in where this process will take me, and excited to record the events affecting my life during my 5 month stay in one of the most fascinating places on earth. Hopefully this will provide an idea of the things that I encounter while here to my family and friends abroad. For those who know me, I like to think a lot about all kinds of things in life, and can often talk about them in excess. My goal is to be able to describe my thoughts in written form over the next 5 months, and possibly after. Though I don't consider myself much of a writer at all, I do enjoy getting the sometimes seemingly endless streams of thought out on paper (i.e. list making). This is an attempt to describe a taste of my experiences in Israel, but by no means will I be able to justifiably provide an entire outlook on my time here. I'll try to write about once a week, but I'm sure that amount will vary. Maybe I'll learn some new things about myself during this process as well (as that is one of my goals while being here). As for now however, I'm just free-swimming through a land with an incredible amount of to offer. Who knows where it will take me.
